Walking 5000 Steps a Day May Help Improve Depression Symptoms

A new study suggests walking at least 5,000 steps per day can help reduce depression symptoms. When step counts reached at least 7,500 per day, researchers observed a 42% decrease in depression. Some benefits were observed with as few as 1,000 daily steps.
