For many years, South Carolina has been the leading state in the Southeast for UFO sightings.

Myrtle Beach, specifically, has been the city that has seen some of the most extraterrestrial signals in the sky from tourists and locals alike. There have been a few news stories recently that have also mentioned the city and its being a hotspot for UFO activity. Since there have been so many accounts of sightings, there is a Facebook group dedicated to this phenomenon called “Myrtle Beach UFO Sightings” where over 500 members contribute what they have witnessed across the Grand Strand.

From time to time, local news outlets have tried to dig into this unexplained phenomenon that continually creates buzz with visitors and locals alike.
