Orange County launches free bus pilot program for 2026

Orange County began a fare-free pilot program on Friday for its fixed-route transit services that will last for the entirety of 2026. The Orange County Board of Commissioners approved the pilot at their Dec. 9 meeting, marking an important step in achieving the County’s mobility, equity and sustainability goals.
