Quote from Billy Wilcosky on March 12, 2025, 12:46 amIf you were around when MySpace was the most popular place on the Internet, then you remember customizing your profile with CSS. You may or may not have known you were using CSS, but you were. There were other websites dedicated to giving people CSS styling tips for their MySpace profiles. It was an exciting and creative time to be online. Since then, creativity went out the window in favor of tamed walled gardens.
Well, we're bringing some of the magic back!
Now you can add custom CSS to change the look of Upviber. The changes will only be visible to you and only when you're logged in, but still, this lets you make changes like font family, size, and/or hide certain elements to make Upviber your own!
Tap on your avatar in the main menu, then go to Settings and you'll see the new Custom CSS field.
What CSS should you add? That's the fun part! If you don't know anything about CSS, start searching the web about it and learn.
I'll give you one very simple example. The following will change Upviber's font to Courier:
body {
font-family: courier !important;
}You don't always need the !important part, but if you save the CSS and don't notice any changes, try adding that.
Good luck and have fun!! 🤩
